Local author Ruth Cohen discusses her book, Remains of a Cloud, which details her successful struggle with bipolar disorder. Over the course of 30 years, she lived with her illness on four continents. This disorder is a "complicated sickness where light does not emerge often but suffering does." In her book she shows the importance of correct diagnosis, the benefits of psychotherapy, the role of will and faith, and the value of courage and optimism when confronting mental illness.
