Free S.A.T. Workshops @ Excelsior in March and April

Two different S.A.T. workshops will be offered at the Excelsior Branch.

1. MATH SUBJECT TEST - 2 Saturdays - March 28 and April 4, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
In the Math workshop, we will examine test taking strategies specific to each of the question types that appear on the level II Math exam. The instructor will answer content related questions about algebra, trigonometry, geometry and pre-calculus. Students will complete the course having acquired an in-depth understanding of what is covered on the test. Please sign up for this workshop only if you are in advanced math courses (trigonometry or higher).

Saturdays - March 28 and April 4, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

2. S.A.T. INTENSIVE - 4 Tuesdays - March 31, April 14, 21 and 28 - from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
This course begins with a full-length SAT to give students hands-on experience with the test. The workshop will cover everything you need to know to improve your scores on SAT, including basic test strategy, time management techniques, process of elimination, the essay, vocabulary help, grammar, critical reading and math. Tuesdays, March 31, April 14, 21 and 28, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
