How to Do Genealogy Research - March 21st

Not long ago, the only way to do genealogy research was by traveling hundreds of miles to visit historical societies, archives and specialized libraries. Now, a wealth of information is available for free on the web, including images of original census documents, indexes of marriage records and immigration documents.

We will demonstrate databases made available through the library, including HeritageQuest Online and Ancestry Library Edition. We will also cover historical newspapers, maps and the best of the free genealogy websites. Whether you are just starting your genealogy research or have been tracing your family tree for years, this class is for you.

Saturday, March 21st from 3:30-5 p.m.
