And you will be eligible for a chance to win a $500 gift card for Chronicle Books to be raffled off on August 18 at Sunday Streets next to the Main Library.

In addition, all teens who read 30 hours and submit 5 book reviews will be eligible for a chance to win a $5000 scholarship from Supervisor Mark Farrell. Read more here: http://sfpl.org/index.php?pg=2000615101

First Monday Movies @ Excelsior, June 3, 6:30-8:30pm

Our movie for June is A Night at the Opera (935, 91 mins) with the Marx Brothers, Kitty Carlisle, and Allan Jones; directed by Sam Wood.

A sly business manager and two wacky friends of two opera singers help them achieve success while humiliating their stuffy and snobby friends.

The movie was selected for preseration in the National Film Registry in 1993 and in 2007, the American Film Institute ranked it
as the #85 Greatest American Movie of All Time. Groucho Marx said that this was his favorite among his movies.
