Fast paced, beautifully written 6-part BBC thriller. MP Stephen Collins' research assistant is killed in an accident, but his journalist friend thinks the death is suspicious and may be linked to the murder of a teenage purse snatcher. The MP’s affair with the researcher is only one of the many troubling facts that emerges in the case involving politicians, the press, the police, and big business. Stellar cast includes Bill Nighy, Kelly Macdonald, James McAvoy, and Polly Walker.
