The Arts & Culture Salon is pleased to present Tim Holt with a brief history of the American folksong. Holt will sing songs which represent various aspects of our history and culture, from the ballads of Appalachia, songs of westward settlement, old time gospel, and the ramblin' Depression-era songs of Woody Guthrie. Holt notes, "The history of the American folksong is really a people's history of this country."
