Author and playwright, Cecilia Gaerlan, will present a multi-media
program which will combine theatre, film, music, and photographs to
depict the stories of World War II in the Philippines and portraying the
emotional toll of war. She will also read excerpts from her novel and
stage play, In Her Mother’s Image, which is set in the Philippines during World War II.The highlight of this presentation will be the appearance of Bataan veterans who will speak about their experience during the war.
