Author Alex Hatch will talk about her new book, Cracks in the Asphalt: the Community Gardens of San Francisco and show slides of community gardens. She will be joined by Deborah Lunsford, Director of Living Sidewalks, and a certified permaculturist, who will address the issues of making our city sidewalks permeable as well as beautiful.
